i rooted my nexus 7 2012 with the tool. used ppp widget for using dongle. did OTA to 4.4.3, then to 4.4.4. later i saw that ppp widget is not working (it keeps on detecting the dongle but dont go to connected mode). But i could access pen drives. Then i thought to root again, & saw that windows 7 shows unknown usb device.
