The VPN client uses your myUFL (Gatorlink) username and password to authenticate you. It then creates a secure channel between your remote computer and the UF network, and routes all traffic to and from UF through that channel. Feb 05, 2019 · Click on "Server Address" and type "vpn.ufl.edu" Click "Save" on the upper right hand corner. Click on the On/Off switch. This will start the VPN session. An authentication screen will pop up. Authenticate with your Gatorlink account info. The client will update and create a new profile called "Gatorlink VPN".
Windows 10 Education. 1. Open your web browser an type in the following address: https://portal.helpdesk.ufl.edu 2. You will be prompted to login using GatorLink. 3. A page will appear that will show your eligibility for certain software licenses. This page is sometimes not accurate. All UF students have access to Windows 10 Education. Tap on VPN. Step 5: Tap on Add VPN Configuration. Step 6: Enter the following information: Description for the VPN (UFL L2TP for example) Server: l2tp.vpn.ufl.edu. Account: username@ufl.edu (where username is your GatorLink account username) RSA SecurID: OFF. Password: Ask Every Time or enter your GatorLink password to be stored*.
To set up the UF VPN, you will first need the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. 1) Download and install the client for your device. If installing the Windows client, you only need the first install. 2) Once installed, run the client and connect to “vpn.ufl.edu”.
