Perhaps BBC News could be put into council tax and anything "entertainment" could be suscription only. Make only the PSB things part of a "tax" and the rest encrypted and subscription. To me, it's a complete waste of money. I do not watch live TV in any form, I do not use the iPlayer and BBC Radio bores me.
